We offer a full range of dental services with your health, comfort, and convenience always in mind. And we routinely perform a variety of complex procedures that many dentists must automatically refer to specialists. While we do on occasion refer to some of the best specialists in the area, we take pride in being able to provide full service to most of our patients.
Whatever your dental needs — from a complete dental cleaning and exam to a full mouth restoration — we promise to provide you with the exceptional care you deserve.
The following is a partial list of several of the cosmetic and preventative dentistry services that we offer to our patients. In order for us to better service your dental needs, we recommend a complete examination followed by a free consultation in which we will create a planned dental care that suits you or your children’s dental health and lifestyle.
Cosmetic Dentistry
Starting with a good dental foundation of healthy teeth and gums, we can perfect your smile with many common practices if needed. Some of these techniques include: porcelain restorations, veneers, whitening, and other state-of-the-art treatments.
Bonding – is a wonderful and safe technique for fixing cosmetic flaws in teeth.
Cosmetic Fillings – are a tooth-colored alternative to traditional amalgam fillings.
Root Canals – We perform root canals on all teeth.
Crowns and Bridges – are restorations of the visible structure of a severely damaged tooth.
Specialty Dentures/Partials – are removable replacement teeth.
Implants are a better solution to the problem of missing teeth.Implants are bridges that are permanently anchored to your jaw allowing you to maintain a customary lifestyle. They can replace ill-fitting dentures and or missing teeth.
Veneers are thin shells of plastic or porcelain that cover just the visible portion of your teeth.
Whitening is a safe and effective way to quickly deliver a dramatic change to your smile.
Preventive Dentistry
Cleaning is part of a proper oral hygiene program
Dental Examinations are a crucial part of preventative dentistry
Polishing is often the last step of a dental cleaning, scaling, and some restorative procedures
Scaling is a deep-cleaning procedure
X-Rays take pictures called radiographs that show the interior of dental structures
Initial oral examination includes a visual examination, charting, periodontal probing, diagnosis and treatment recommendations. We will also take x-rays, which includes the full mouth x-ray for proper diagnosis of the anterior (front) and posterior (back) teeth as well as the bite-wing x-ray series for proper diagnosis of proximal decay of posterior teeth
Periodontal Treatment
You should have a standard cleaning at least twice a year. A periodontal treatment includes an Adult Prophy (basic cleaning). If it has been over a year since your last cleaning, possible treatment will include either Periodontal Scaling (deeper) or Root Planning and Scaling (requires anesthetic).
Mouth Guards
Whether you are an athlete or casual sports participant, you should wear a mouth guard to protect your teeth. If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a bite guard will help reduce symptoms of TMJ. We custom make mouth guards in both soft and hard materials.
Removable Dental Prosthesis
For missing teeth, we can make dentures or removable partials for you.
